The Aaron Rosand Intensive Program
The Aaron Rosand Intensive Program is now being offered for highly qualified students. Legendary American virtuoso, Aaron Rosand, professor of violin at The Curtis Institute and The Mannes College of Music offers his reflections on violin practice and performance in the Grand Tradition. During this program, Maestro Rosand will work individually with students in the Auer-Heifetz manner of small groups in an open masterclass setting.
There is both a two week program (Tuesday July 28–Tuesday August 11, 2015) and a three week program (Tuesday July 21–Tuesday August 11, 2015).
Open discussion on development of individual sound, style and interpretation. Special attention given to technical problems
Career advice and consultations.
Eligibility to participate in all festival activities such as the Mary Smart Concerto Competition, Student Gala Concerts, Master Classes, Chamber Music, and Orchestra.
